I retired as Senior Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Central Office, Chennai on 30. 04. 2019. I was working as Inspector of Police, CBI, ACB, Chennai from 2013 to 2017 on deputation. The document shown to me is the search list dated 21. 04. 2014 aND the said search was conducted by me as per the authorization given by the Investigating Officer under section 165 of Cr. P. C. at the residential premises of Mr. A. Paramasivam at No. 10, ICISA Complex, A-52, Sector 62, Noida, U. P. in the presence of three independent witnesses namely Mrs. Pillai Nisha. G, Mr. Kehar Singh aND Mr. Darshan Singh. The search was commenced on 21. 04. 2014 at 07. 00 p. m. aND concluded on 22. 04. 2014 at 02. 00 a. m. During the search, Mrs. Selvarani wife of Mr. A. Paramasivan was present at the residence. The value of items mentioned in the inventory list has been incorporated based on the value stated by Mrs. S. Selvarani, wife of Mr. A. Paramasivan. During the search proceedings, sum of Rs. 4, 03, 100/- was fouND in three different places of the house, one of Rs. 3, 00, 000/- in the shelf of bed room number 3, secoND of Rs. 65, 000/- in the cup board of Mr. Paramasivan in the master bed room aND third of Rs. 38, 100/- from steel almirah of Mrs. S. Selvarani in master bed room. It was stated by Mrs. S. Selvarani that amounts of Rs. 3, 00, 000/- aND Rs. 65, 000/- out of total Rs. 4, 03, 100/- belongs to her husbaND Mr. A. Paramasivan aND Rs. 38, 100/ belongs to her for househoLd. expenses. Based on the request of Mrs. S. Selvarani, Rs. 38, 100/- was left for househoLd. expenses aND the amount of Rs. 3. 65 lakhs was seized. The search list along with Inventories were prepared by me aND the aforesaid three independent witnesses aND Mrs. Selvarani has signed in the same. The photocopy of the search list dated 21. 04. 2014 along with Inventories is now marked as Ex. P. 14 (ten sheets). The originals of search list along with Inventories were already filed in C. C. No. 9 of 2015 before this Hon'ble Court. Selvarani which was seized as item no. 15 in Ex. P. 14. The said locker operation proceedings has been conducted by me in the presence of independent witnesses Sh. . N. Kannan aND Sh. . V. Gnanasekaran on 10. 05. 2014 at 10. 00 a. m. During the said proceedings, the Branch Manager Mr. Gnanasekaran has been requested to permit the locker operation proceedings pertaining to the locker no. 43 of Unit – I by Mrs. S. Selvarani. During the said proceedings, thirteen items were fouND in the above said locker aND the value of the said items has been mentioned in the proceedings, based on the value stated by Mrs. Selvarani. The said locker proceedings commenced on 10. 05. 2014 at 10. 00 a. m. aND concluded at 12. 45 p. m. on the same day. The locker operation proceedings was prepared by me aND also signed by me, aforesaid two independent witnesses aND Mrs. S. Selvarani. The photocopy of the locker operation proceedings dated 10. 05. 2014 is now marked as Ex. P. 15 (three sheets). The originals of locker operation proceedings were already filed in C. C. No. 9 of 2015 before this Hon'ble Court. ebco

P. 14. e Question: Have you filed any authorization given to you by the Investigating Officer to conduct the search mentioned in Ex. P. 14? Answer: Yes. I had been sent such authorization to the Court to the relevant period. Such original authorization is now marked as Ex. C. 1 (one sheet). No proof is filed before Court for receiving Ex. C. 1 from Investigating Officer. b Question: Does Ex. C. 1 mentioned about locker operation proceedings? Answer: No. Though Ex. C. 1 is not specifically mention about locker operation proceedings but it is necessary after conducting search in the house of Mr. A. Paramasivan. c There is no contexts mentioned in Ex. P. 15 locker operation proceedings as to how I secured two independent witnesses mentioned therein. No videograph was taken while conducting Ex. P. 14 aND Ex.
