Presently I am working as Senior Accounts Officer in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A & E), Rajkot, Gujarat. During the year January 2017, I was promoted as an Accounts Officer in Branch Office at Ahmadabad. Now the witness was shown Ex. P. 77, the office provided details to CBI with regard to the official journey performed by Mr. Paramasivam from 13. 05. 2010 to 30. 04. 2013. The letter was signed by our Deputy Accountant General (A & E) Smt. . Radha. We also provided the details of Leave Travel Concession obtained by Sh. . Paramasivam from 13. 05. 2010 to 30. 04. 2013. Now the witness was shown Ex. P. 79, the office provided details to CBI with regard to the official journey performed by Mr. Paramasivam from March 2012 to April 2013 The letter was signed by our Deputy Accountant General (A & E) Smt. . Radha aND I identify the same. Now the witness was shown Ex. P. 78, the office provided details to CBI with regard to the official journey performed by Mr. Paramasivam from 01. 01. 2010 to 22. 04. 2014 including LTC. The letter was signed by Deputy Accountant General (Administration) from the Audit Office. Now the witness was shown Ex. P. 98, the office provided details to CBI with regard to the statement showing the leave availed by Mr. Paramasivam from 13. 05. 2010 to 13. 04. 2013 along with the copies of Leave Application. The letter was signed by Deputy Accountant General (A & E) Smt. . Radha aND I identify the same. In this regard, CBI has examined me.
Yes it is correct to state that for every Leave Travel concession, there shouLd. be an application aND the same will be sanctioned aND entered in the Service Register. Yes it is correct to state that for availing the LTC, a Government servant has to submit LTC Bill for claiming the amount. Yes it is correct to state that it is not the extract of the record but we have submitted the report based on the records available in our
office. I deny the suggestion that I am not the competent person to state about the record.
