Padmakumar to conduct investigation in R. C. 42 (A) /2014 vide authorization letter dated 06. 09. 2016 under section 17 of PC Act aND it is now marked as Ex. P. 37 (one sheet). As per Ex. P. 37, I was also authorized to exercise power under section 18 of PC Act. I tookup investigation aND during investigation I have examined aND recorded the statement of witnesses viz. , Mr. N. As per the direction of the then SP, I handed over the case records to Mr. Muthukumar, Inspector of Police, CBI, ACB, Chennai for subsequent investigation. c
