Matter is listed today for consideration on petition under Section 9 of Arbitration aND Conciliation Act. Perusal of file shows that on 17. 04. 2025, petitioner has filed statement of truth. At the very outset, Ld. Counsel for the respondent submits that he is appearing today on behalf of the respondent as the petitioner has served the advance copy of petition to the respondent. He further submits that moreover, petitioner has also sent email to the respondent regarding the present case mentioning that the matter is listed for today. Issue notice of the petition under Section 9 of Arbitration aND Conciliation Act as well as applications, if any, to the respondent, through all modes for next date of hearing. At this stage, Ld. Counsel for the respondent submits that he waives service of notice on behalf of the respondent aND he is accepting the service on behalf of the respondent. Contd…… Further, at this stage, Ld. Associate counsel for the counsel for the respondent has filed memo of appearance on behalf of the respondent aND submits that the respondent will file vakalatnama on or before the next date of hearing. Ld. Counsel for the respondent submits that though the respondent has received the copy of petition through email, however, the petitioner may be directed to supply the hard copy of the same also alongwith statement of truth, which was filed on 17. 04. 2025. Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will supply the complete set of hard copy of the petition to the Ld. Counsel for the respondent during the course of the day. Ld. Counsel for the respondent seeks time to file reply to the above petition as well as interim application.
