THREE APPLICATIONS DATED 28.04.2022 ON BEHALF OF APPLICANT/ACCUSED SH. NAVEEN JINDAL FOR MODIFICATION OF THE ORDER DATED 26.04.2022.
These applications are filed today by Ld. Counsel Sh. Gurpreet Singh Parwanda, on behalf of applicant/accused Sh. Naveen Jindal. Soft copy supplied to Ld. ALA for CBI as well as Ld. Special PP for ED.
It is mentioned in the applications that vide order dated 26.04.2022, this court has granted permission to the applicant/accused Sh. Naveen Jindal to travel to Nigeria, Guinee, Ghana & Mozambique from 30.04.2022 to 07.05.2022 and to Italy, UK and USA from 14.05.2022 to 01.06.2022. However, due to certain change in itinerary, the applicant Sh. Naveen Jindal is now required to travel to Mozambique from 30.04.2022 to 05.05.2022, to Nigeria from 05.05.2022 to 06.05.2022 and to Guinee from 06.05.2022 to 07.05.2022. Invitations to travel Mozambique, Nigeria and Guinee are enclosed with these applications as Annexure A-1, Annexure A-2 and Annexure A-3 respectively.
It is prayed in the applications to modify the order dated 26.04.2022 and thereby permitting the applicant to now travel to Mozambique from 30.04.2022 to 05.05.2022, to Nigeria from 05.05.2022 to 06.05.2022 and to Guinee from 06.05.2022 to 07.05.2022.
Sh. V.K. Sharma, Ld. ALA of CBI submitted that the applications be disposed of taking into account all the facts and circumstances of the case. Ld. Special PP Sh. N.K. Matta also submitted that the applications be decided taking into account the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case.
