Through these applications, the applicant/accused Gyan Swaroop Garg has submitted that vide order dated 05.09.2024, he was granted permission to travel to Milan, Italy from 05.10.2024 to 12.10.2024 and in compliance of

that order he had furnished the requisite FDR for a sum of Rs. 10,00,000/bearing No. 19243497 issued by ICICI Bank and FDR for a sum of Rs. 10,00,000/- bearing No. 19243498 issued by ICICI Bank. It is further mentioned that as the applicant has intimated his arrival in India vide order dated 15.10.2024 and it is accordingly prayed that said FDRs be now released to him.
Ld. DLA for CBI Sh. A.P. Singh and Ld. Special PP for DoE Sh. N.K. Matta submits that they have no objection, in case the FDRs are released to the applicant/accused Gyan Swaroop Garg.
In view of the submissions made, the FDRs bearing No. 19243497 & 19243498 both for a sum of Rs. 10,00,000/- issued by ICICI Bank released to applicant/accused.
Letters be written to the bank branch concerned mentioning therein that this Court has no objection if the amount of said FDRs are released in favour of applicant/accused.
