APPLICATIONS DATED 05.02.2024 ON BEHALF OF SH. NAVEEN JINDAL FOR PERMISSION TO TRAVEL TO CAMEROON, LIBERIA & GUINEA FROM 07.02.2024 TO 20.02.2024 IN ADDITION TO THE COUNTRIES AS ALREADY ALLOWED VIDE ORDER DATED 23.01.2024 AND 31.01.2024.

It is stated in these applications that applicant/accused Sh. Naveen Jindal was granted permission to travel to Italy, Spain, Czech

Republic, UK, USA, Venezuela, Mozambique and Oman from 01.02.2024 to 20.02.2024 vide orders dated 23.01.2024 and 31.01.2024, in connection with his business interests. However, due to urgent business meetings, the applicant needs to travel to Cameroon, Liberia & Guinea from 07.02.2024 to 20.02.2024.

Copy of invitation letter is also annexed with the applications.

It is accordingly prayed that applicant be permitted to travel to Cameroon, Liberia and Guinea from 07.02.2024 to 20.02.2024 in addition to the countries as already allowed vide orders dated 23.01.2024 and 31.01.2024.

Ld. DLA for CBI Sh. A.P. Singh submitted that subject to the condition that the accused will not dispute his identity, he has no objection to these applications.

Sh. Rajesh Batra, Ld. Special PP for DoE submitted that he also has no objection if the present applications are allowed.

Considering the submissions made, the applicant/accused Sh. Naveen Jindal is permitted to travel to Cameroon, Liberia and Guinea also in addition to the countries as already allowed vide orders dated 23.01.2024 and 31.01.2024 from 07.02.2024 to 20.02.2024, subject to conditions detailed in orders dated 23.01.2024 and 31.01.2024.
