It is mentioned in these applications that vide order dated 05.07.2023, the applicant/accused Naveen Jindal was granted permission to travel to UAE, Oman, Nigeria, Guinea, Cameroon,

Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Algeria from 06.07.2023 to 15.07.2023. However, the applicant has travelled abroad only to Oman on 10.07.2023 and returned back to India on 13.07.2023.

Through these applications, it is prayed to take on record the details of the applicant of his travel abroad.

In view of the submissions made, the details of travel of applicant/accused is taken on record.

II. APPLICATIONS DATED 17.07.2023 ON BEHALF OF APPLICANT/ACCUSED SH. NAVEEN JINDAL FOR MODIFICATION OF THE TRAVEL ITINERARY DATED 05.07.2023.

It is mentioned in these applications that vide order dated 05.07.2023, this court had granted permission to the applicant Sh. Naveen Jindal to travel to UAE, Oman, Nigeria, Guinea, Cameroon from 06.07.2023 instead of 08.07.2023, and to Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Algeria from 06.07.2023 to 15.07.2023 and also to V enezuela, Chile, Peru, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Algeria from 25.07.2023 to 06.08.2023 in connection with business interest.

It is further mentioned in these applications that because of some urgency and rescheduling of scheduled meetings, now the applicant has to travel to Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Algeria from 23.07.2023 instead of 25.07.2023 and to South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Nigeria, Cameroon, Guinea & Spain from 23.07.2023 to 06.08.2023 in connection with business interest.

Through these applications, the applicant/accused has prayed to modify the order dated 05.07.2023 and to permit him to travel to Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Algeria, South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Nigeria, Cameroon, Guinea & Spain from 23.07.2023 to 06.08.2023.

Ld. DLA for CBI and Ld. Advocate for ED submits that they do not have any objection and the travel itinerary be taken on record.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice, the accused Sh. Naveen Jindal is permitted to travel to Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Algeria, South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Nigeria, Cameroon, Guinea & Spain from 23.07.2023 to 06.08.2023, subject to same terms and conditions as are mentioned in order dated 05.07.2023.

The applications are accordingly disposed off.
