It is mentioned in these applications that vide order dated 17.05.2023, the applicant/accused Sh. Naveen Jindal was granted

permission to travel to UK, Spain, Paris, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belgium, Venezuela, USA, Hungary, Italy, Germany, Oman & UAE from 20.05.2023 to 15.06.2023 and in pursuance of the said order dated 17.05.2023, the applicant/accused has left India on 21.05.2023.

It is further mentioned in these applications that due to urgent meetings, now the applicant/accused is also required to travel to Germany, France, Netherlands, Poland, Mozambique, South Africa and Botswana from 29.05.2023 to 19.06.2023 in addition to the aforesaid countries. Copies of invitations are annexed with these applications as Annexure A-1 (Colly).

The applicant/accused has mentioned in these applications the itinerary of his travel, details of the addresses/Hotels where he would be staying during the period of his aforesaid visit. The applicant/accused undertakes to file the complete itinerary after returning back to India.

The applicant has also mentioned his mobile number, where he would be always available/reachable.

The applicant has mentioned that no prejudice shall be caused to the prosecution and/or any proceedings including trial before this Court shall be hampered/delayed in his absence. He undertakes that he will not dispute his identity nor question the legitimacy of any proceedings done including recording prosecution evidences in his absence and in the presence of his counsel on the ground of his absence. It is further stated in the applications that he has instructed his Counsels not to seek any adjournment in the matter on the ground of his absence. The applicant has undertakes to remain present himself as and when so directed and his presence is required in connection with the present three cases.

These applications are opposed by CBI as well as ED. Ld. DLA for CBI Sh. A.P. Singh as well as Ld. Special PP for ED Sh. Rajesh

Batra submitted that the applicant has mentioned in these applications, the entire period of his visit i.e. 29.05.2023 to 19.06.2023 in front of each and every country and not mentioned separately, the dates when he would be visiting each particular country. They submitted that the present applications be disposed off taking into account the present facts and circumstances of the cases.

This Court has considered the submissions made on behalf of Ld. Counsel for the applicant/accused, Sh. A.P. Singh, Ld. DLA for CBI and Sh. Rajesh Batra, Ld. Counsel for ED.

In the considered opinion of this Court, the applicant/accused is entitled to permission of the Court to travel abroad to Germany, France, Netherlands, Poland, Mozambique, South Africa and Botswana from 29.05.2023 to 19.06.2023 in addition to the countries i.e. UK, Spain, Paris, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belgium, Venezuela, USA, Hungary, Italy, Germany, Oman & UAE from 20.05.2023 to 15.06.2023, on the same terms and conditions as mentioned in order dated 17.05.2023. The applicant/accused shall also file the complete itinerary mentioning therein the dates of his visiting each particular country.

With these directions, these applications are disposed off.
